Original English version of this open letter

Open Letter to the Academic Community at Universidad del Valle, Cali, Colombia.

Dear members of the academic community at the University,

I will be out of the country for about 15 days (leaving next week) for attendance to the event Evidence Live 2015 (Oxford University, UK). On the other hand, I look forward the moment of receiving a response by the Health Faculty of the University. An ideal moment for that matter will be the day I return to Colombia.

The content of this response could fall in three possibilities:

I. Public apologies by the Health Faculty Council: This is my suggested response. Furthermore, I expect a very interesting, well-written and cogent letter – please write this apology in English because this matter is now being actively discussed outside Colombia.

II. Counterargument and refutation of my demands: I think that extraterrestrial life will be discovered before that anyone of those persons which I had been publicly calling out since my release of the Mental Health Unit (Dec 10, 2014) will actually provide a cogent response contradicting the events which have been deemed by international organizations (e.g., United Nations) as torture and ill medical treatment. Furthermore, all of you have been breaking the principle of patient autonomy in medical ethics at the heart of a medical school (that’s condemnable).*

Is the English language a problem perhaps?
Re: I can offer my assistance to translate that letter to Spanish if you might prefer.

* That will be a progress: your 1st response actually contradicting at least one of my arguments.

III. The other option is to continue your silence and attempts to ostracize me and trying to suppress my dissenting ideas (which are supported by research data) about the criminal activities of pharmaceutical companies which also involves the complicity of professors of the University and physicians working at the Hospital Universitario del Valle (HUV). This is by default my preferred response. I would like to sincerely express my gratitude to the health faculty because of their support, it have helped me a lot and it’s not a bad idea to continue providing me something to talk about.

Note: During the last 4-5 months (Dec 7, 2014) I have been calling forth the directives of the Health Faculty at Universidad del Valle, the Dpto. of Physiological Sciences and the Dpto. of Psychiatry.

Now: I am calling out all of you.

…”To be sure, there are situations when a heavier hand is needed. Calling out repeated safety violations may be an effective way to signal norms to others. Calling out sexist or illegal behavior may be more appropriate than a softer touch.”… — https://hbr.org/2014/10/stop-calling-people-out
