CHIRPS Combined Precipitation Analysis in Google Earth Engine, 1981-2019

This JavaScript code is meant to be run inside the Google Earth Engine web interface ( https://code.earthengine.google.com/ ). The code processes the CHIRPS rainfall dataset for a customized region of southern Africa. The script estimates several derived metrics and trends in those metrics for the beginning, ending, and length of the rainy season in this geographic area. Data exports of the derived raster layers are also provided.
