(a) NAG–TEC magnetic anomaly grid – high pass filter for anomalies with wavelengths of 300 km and higher. This grid has been substracted from the NAG–TEC total magnetic anomaly grid and replaced by equivalent total field values extracted from the MF7 satellite based lithospheric magnetic anomaly model (Maus et al., 2009); (b) MF7 satellite based lithospheric magnetic anomaly model (Maus et al., 2009) showing magnetic anomalies with wavelengths of 300 km and higher.
