SEM images of an epoxy replica of the epidermis of a Cape daisy (Osteospermum 'Nairobi Purple') showing replicated papilla (scale bar = 100 μm). The replica was obtained by a two-step moulding process. A first negative mould is obtained using a polyvinylsiloxane polymer and then a positive replica is created with an adequate epoxy resin.
