<div> <div> <div> <div> <p>Previous research has investigated the BESS and found that scores were highly varied across experimenters.<br> This research reveals a number of potential flaws within the BESS. </p> <p>Beyond the problems of subjective scoring, the BESS only detects dysfunction so that most healthy people and even people affected by mild concussions score perfectly well on the test.<br> In the present experiment, we look to assess the BESS test and compare subjective assessment of balance ability.<br> By identifying potential flaws in the BESS, we may reveal the need for other methods that could be used to identify individuals who have actually sustained a concussion. </p> </div> </div> </div> </div>
