The MG-eDXS-Lyco cell pellet [A(b)] showed intense red pigmentation compared to MG-Lyco [A(a)]. MG-eDXS-Lyco produced 3.4-fold lycopene amount than MG-Lyco did (B). dxs expression in MG-DXS-FLAG and MG-eDXS-FLAG was analyzed by SDS-PAGE [C(a)] and Western blotting [C(b)].
