Anthriscus cerefolium origins from the eastern part of Mediterranean area and west part of central Asia. In Poland, it occurs in lowlands in the western part of the country, where it has been noted from 55 ATPOL 10x10 squares. In Lower Silesia, it was noticed on 18 locations in 13 ATPOL squares 10.x.10 km; in  majority before 1945 year. Only two localities have been observed after 1995, in anthropogenic habitats of the Kaczawskie Piedmont, and one locality in 1974 in Legnica City. There are no information about the status of the population and risk of extinction on these localities, moreover data on the distribution of the species in the region are insufficient. It means that in Lower Silesia Antriscus cerefolium should be categorized in category DD (data deficient).
