Annual Report of the Bank of Japan for the year 1912. The Report contains the Bank's official viewpoint on the economic conditions of the country, as well as the 'financial operations in the year under review'.
It details elements as the bank rate, inflation etc. A most important aspect is its treatment of the outflow and inflow of specie, as the latter was tightly bound up with the country's management of the recently adopted goldstandard (1897).
Every report includes an appendix detailing total operations, bank notes issued, the discount of commercial bills, the rate of discount, loans ans their rates of interest, ..., transactions in precious metals.
