  • Previous research has shown that the ability to recall information is affected both by aging and the structure of narratives.

  • •  In the case of autobiographical memory, the episodic (event-specific, contextually rich) content has been found to change across the lifespan, but it is unclear if the style and structure of narrative also changes with age.
