This equity review of NDCs was undertaken by a very broad and diverse coalition of over 200 civil society organizations, social movements and NGOs to assess the ambition and fairness of the climate action pledges (NDCs) put forward by countries in the lead-up to and since the 2015 Paris Climate Summit. It is the fourth of a series of annual reports on the topic since the 2015 Paris summit. This year's report focuses on the link between the stark inequalities within countries on one hand and international equity between countries on the other hand as well as the link of both to ambition on climate change mitigation.
