Adventures in Publishing

This presentation was given to the Bureau of Economic Geology (BEG) at UT Austin. The presentation was also lived-streamed to the Jackson School of Geoscience, UT Austin. In this presentation I talked about Journal Impact Factor (JIF) and H-index as tools for researcher assessment, and provided an introduction to DORA and preprints, including the Earth Science preprint server, EarthArXiv.
