This thesis provides a comprehensive analysis of nanolasers based on graphene and molybdenum disulfide. Here, we have proposed novel spaser (i.e. nanolaser) designs and analysed their output and operational characteristics. The knowledge can be used to engineer spasers based on two-dimensional plasmonic materials.
