A publication model that aligns with the key open source software principles

Poster presented at BOSC 2014, explaining how F1000Research's publication model is well suited to publishing software articles in biomedical science. The talk covers how papers are versioned to document the latest updates, and also clearly outlines our software availability section, and how it allows authors to gain credit for their code through a formal citiation.
