This table contains the mean and standard deviation of ABSI by age and sex for NHANES 1999–2004, based on all individuals with available data (except pregnant women) and weighted to represent the larger USA population which NHANES was intended to sample. The smoothed means and standard deviations shown were used to generate ABSI z scores. The table contains 11 space-separated columns in plain text. The layout is: Column 1: Age (85 includes those older than 85). Column 2: Number of males with available data at this age. Column 3: ABSI mean for males at the given age. Column 4: ABSI standard deviation for males at the given age. Column 5: Smoothed ABSI mean for males at the given age. Column 6: Smoothed ABSI standard deviation for males at the given age. Columns 7–11: Same as columns 2–6, but for females.
