This is the presentation I gave at the Ecological Society of America annual meeting in Austin, TX, on 8 August 2011. The talk is on our in prep research using a long-term experimental dataset to explore drivers of 3 well-studied macroecological patterns, the species abundance distribution, the species area relationship, and the species time relationship. Specifically, if and how do patterns respond to changes cascading from experimental mainpulations, in this case, the response of the annual plant community to the systematic removal of rodent seed predation.
