<p>The entropy was calculated from 75 aligned Japanese lamprey VLRC sequences. The sequence variability in LRR1, LRRV1-3, LRRVe and CP is indicated by the color gradation from red (the most variable positions: the highest entropy values) to blue (the least variable positions: the lowest entropy values). LRRNT and LRRCT are shown in gray.</p>
