<p>This GIF animation shows proper motion as a function of position for <em>bona fide</em> members of nearby, young moving groups. For each object, a great circle was drawn on the Celestial sphere with matching position and proper motion direction, so that a convergent point typically near the Solar Apex can be seen. The list of <em>bona fide</em> members is that of Malo et al. (2013). The style of these figures were inspired from the beautiful figures of Adric Riedel (see link below).</p>
