Data and plotting scripts supporting the paper "Motion-in-depth perception and prey capture in the praying mantis <i>Sphodromantis lineola</i>". The data are from experiments that investigated the role of binocular and monocular cues to motion in depth perception during prey capture by mantises (<i>Sphodromantis lineola</i>) in different experiments as detailed in the paper. The datafiles for the mantises detail the occurrence and number of strikes in response to different disparity, looming and motion conditions.
