A process which converts 2D evolving cellular automata into 3D printed objects was designed. The
process takes into account the limitations inherent to 3D printing processes and materials and bypasses the use of CAD software and manual part design. Alongside the process itself, a software which automates the greater part of this process was developed. A physical model of a cellular automaton was successfully printed and suggests that in the future a process similar to the one developed in this project may be used to convert
physics models into 3D objects.
