CHIN, LUI YIN Case studies of sustainability and corporate social responsibility policies and practices in two businesses in their global and Singapore contexts. This study explored the sustainability and corporate social responsibility policies and practices of two businesses, IKEA and Ernst and Young (EY) global, and their Singapore branches, in order to develop a deep understanding of their work in this field. I investigated how they have developed and implemented their practices in recent decades, and how their leaders reflect elements of organisational learning processes in their business including cultural-historical activity theory, expansive learning at work and activity theory. The study concluded that IKEA and EY have provided global leadership in this field in their efforts to work towards a more sustainable future.
