In this thesis 2 sets of nano composite material i.e. GDC and NiO-GDC based on Ionic-gelation method using sodium alginate as the green precursor, were prepared as potential material for fuel cells. The anode and electrolyte layers were fabricated and tested for different properties. Use of NCC as a novel pore-former was also studied for the anode layer.
