The level of respondents from some regions of interest – notably Japan and China – meant that we could not do detailed analysis, so this year we have begun to extend our research to these territories. So here today we publish a survey of more than 1,000 Japanese researchers, looking at the challenges and opportunities in data sharing in Japan. <br></div></div><div><br></div><div>Full data set: https://doi.org/10.6084/m9.figshare.6328952.v1</div> open data;survey data;data sharing;data management plans;Data Communications 2018-06-19
