Wellcome commissioned research to explore the opportunities and challenges around data linkage in public health research.</p><p>The work was completed in March 2015 and done by researchers at the:</p><ul><li>University of the West of England, UK</li><li>University of Cape Town, South Africa</li><li>Centre for Injury Prevention Research, Bangladesh.</li></ul><p>The research looked at low-, middle- and high-income countries and used a mix of literature review, case studies and expert interviews. </p>
