Addressing Injustice: The role of Indigenous sentencing courts in Australia WEDROWICZELISE 2018 This thesis argues that Indigenous sentencing courts have played a vital role in Australia’s criminal justice system, as they allow for greater Indigenous participation in the delivery of justice to Indigenous communities and seek to establish a more productive relationship between the criminal justice system and Indigenous peoples.
