This article also aims to contribute to the debate about the constitution of a new urban form, the São Paulo Macrometropolis, which still lacks better and broader discussions and theoretical and empirical delimitations. To put it in a nutshell, the aim is to show that this new urban form has a clear counterpart in the process of spatial redistribution and population mobility.
