<p><a href="http://www.plosone.org/article/info:doi/10.1371/journal.pone.0005689#pone-0005689-g001" target="_blank">Figure 1</a> illustrates the survival rates (1A) and the rejection free time (1B) for patients with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF; nā=ā79) or silicosis (nā=ā11) following lung transplantation. Survival curves were computed using the Kaplan-Meier method. Differences in survival according to primary diagnosis were assessed using the logrank test and the Cox proportional hazards model as described in the text.</p>
