More lucrative and remunerative occupations, on average, require longer hours. Indeed, success depends on "primary commitment to work and career" and in some cases, participating in the "face time" culture. This paper will provide a framework for understanding the relationship between flexible work options and potential dual agenda outcomes for individuals and organisations.
