Data from "Simulated climate change affects how biocrusts modulate water gains and desiccation dynamics after rainfall events" Ecohydrology, doi: 10.1002/eco.1935 Data from the article: Lafuente, A., M. Berdugo, M. Ladrón de Guevara, B. Gozalo and F. T. Maestre. 2017. Simulated climate change affects how biocrusts modulate water gains and desiccation dynamics after rainfall events. Ecohydrology. 2018. e 1935 https://doi.org/10.1002/eco.1935<div><br></div><div>There are five spreadsheets with data. The spreadsheets "Wetting Events" and "Drying Events" contain all the information about the drying and wetting events analysed in the article, respectively. The "Precipitation" spreadsheet contains raw precipitation data during the study period. The "Soil Moisture" spreadsheet contains the raw soil moisture data. The "BSC cover" spreadsheet contains the biocrust cover data. After each data spreadsheet there is a spreadsheet with the associated metadata, where a description of all the variables and units can be found.</div><div><br></div> Biocrusts;biological soil crusts (BSC);Drying;Drylands;rainfall exclusion;soil moisture;warming;wetting;Ecology 2018-03-02
