However, there are few validated assessments for measuring young children's relationships with social robots. We provide several social/relational assessments for measuring young children's relationships with social robots. These assessments were pilot-tested in the spring of 2017. The following paper presents the results of the pilot study for the Inclusion of Other in Self (IOS) task and the Social-Relational Interview with children aged 3-7 years. The results showed that children could appropriately respond to these assessments and that both had high internal reliability. You are free to use or adapt these assessments.
