The file “land.txt” gives the basic lanscape information for the 49 patches in the focal network. Column 1 gives the patch id; column 2 the patch radius (in meters); column 3 the longitude (in meters); and column 4 the latitude (in meters). The file “Nobs.txt” gives the number of nests observed in the autumn on each patch (rows) across all years (columns). The file “Nsur.txt” gives the information on which year these patches were surveyed (“1” when a survey was made and “0” when there was no survey). Similarly, the files “Sobs.txt” and “Ssur.txt” give the corresponding information for the following spring survey. Finally, the file “controls.txt” gives the control data for the intensively surveyed patches, where column 1 gives the “true” number of autumn nests and column 2 the number of nests observed.

Checksum values are:
-- TABLE: Please see in attached file. --
-- TABLE: Please see in attached file. --
-- TABLE: Please see in attached file. --
-- TABLE: Please see in attached file. --
-- TABLE: Please see in attached file. --
-- TABLE: Please see in attached file. --
