RCS rats were sacrificed between 1 and 6 postnatal weeks. One-week-old (1w) RCS rats were used as the control. (A) Ofd1 mRNA expression level increased between the 1st and 4th weeks, and decreased after the 4th week, as determined by qRT-PCR. N = 4. (B) Expression level of Ofd1, Lca5 and Follistatin in RCS rat retina determined using Western blotting analysis. (C) Quantified results of Ofd1, Lca5 and Follistatin protein levels in RCS rats by QuantityOne software. Ofd1 showed the same expression pattern at the mRNA level. Lca5 and Follistatin expression presented the same pattern as Ofd1.
