<p><strong>Please note that a paper is in preparation describing the complete annotation and analysis of the SOPE genome. This work has been carried out in collaboration with Abdelaziz Heddi (University of Lyon), Rosario Gil, Amparo Latorre and Andres Moya (University of Valencia). Because of the complex nature of the SOPE annotation, much effort has been put forth in generating an accurate annotation for this organism. Therefore, we respectfully request that other labs refrain from uploading a premature annotation of the SOPE genome to the GenBank database.</strong></p>
