Arrows indicate positions of lines at the ion scattering angle θ<em>i</em> = 0° relevant to decay of the states 2s2 1S(1), 2p2 1D(2), 2s2p 1P(3) and 2p2 1S. The broken line is the spectral line for the state 2s2 1S, calculated at θ<em>i</em> = 2° and normalized at the peak maximum. Ion energy is 12 keV.</p> <p><strong>Abstract</strong></p> <p>Energy spectra of electrons ejected into 3He2+–H2 collisions have been measured in the incident ion energy range 6–30 keV. Parameters of the quasimolecule formed during the collision are determined. The dominant role of the channel (2a')2 → 1a'3a' → 1a' + <em>e</em> in the production of electrons at keV ion energies has been revealed. The structure associated with autoionization transitions in the projectile helium atoms shows enormously large broadening and shift to lower energies.</p> 2013-08-22 00:00:00 autoionization transitions 2 p 2 1 S 2 1 S projectile helium atoms Abstract Energy spectra keV ion energies electron Atomic Physics Molecular Physics
