#SciFund Round 2 success and social media

The #SciFund Challenge is a crowdfunding effort for science. The second round ran during the month of May, 2012, and raised $100,345 for 75 scientific research projects, in diverse fields such as biology, astronomy, psychology, and chemistry.

The social media data here were compiled from public sources (e.g., the RocketHub website, video hosting counts) as soon as possible after the completion of #SciFund (i.e., within hours after the last project closed).
