Lipid droplet census, ctd.
Description
We observe diversity of lipid droplet morphology in yeast cells treated with the SSRI antidepressant sertraline/Zoloft, including lipid droplet fusion, fisson and assimllation into organelles involved in vesicle transport. For context, please see a link to the Perlstein lab's recent PLoS ONE paper, which shows that sertraline induces lipid droplet formation in mutants with altered clathrin function.
