Data and syntax to reproduce the findings from LeBel (2010, Self & Identity), whereby higher correspondence between implicit and explicit self-esteem was found for individuals who completed the explicit self-esteem measure (Rosenberg scale) relatively more quickly. This pattern emerged for two implicit self-esteem measures, the name letter task (NLT) and the self-esteem implicit association test (SE-IAT).
Also included are the complete set of materials for Study 1 and 2 (which were combined into one sample due to editorial request). The materials were implemented using Empirisoft's MediaLab and DirectRT experimental software (see study1Materials.zip and study2Materials.zip).
