First Results from the HELCATS Project

The FP7 HELCATS (Heliospheric Cataloguing, Analysis & Techniques Service) project, which commenced in May 2014 (see poster 21, session 9, by Davies et al.), is a European effort to consolidate the exploitation of the maturing field of heliospheric imaging. HELCATS aims to catalogue solar wind transients, observed by the STEREO/HI instruments, and validate different methods for the determination of their kinematic properties.
