Digital pedagogy in three parts: screencasting, course blog, remote guests

As presented in Boston University's Fourth Annual Instructional Innovation Conference, March 1st, 2012.
Describes the digital pedagogy strategy used by the author in her freshman Introduction to Engineering module titled "Bio-Aerial Locomotion." The strategy is based on three elements: (i) class presentation using digital inking and media-rich slides, live recording of screencasts and open online dissemination; (ii) a course blog, with student assignments publicly available online; (iii) a program of distinguished invited speakers participating in the course via Skype.
