Description

- High-grade intraepidermal melanocytic lesions are mainly driven by p53 over-expression, which is dissociated from cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitors (p21WAF1 and p27Kip1) in melanoma in-situ.
- Invasion in malignant melanomas seems to be independent of p53 expression
