Application for the NAE Frontiers of Engineering Education Symposium 2012

The Frontiers of Engineering Education (FOEE) Symposium is a program of the National Academy of Engineering (NAE) to bring together innovative engineering educators to be recognized and participate in workshops. 

Participants are first nominated by NAE members or engineering Deans across the country, and then a committee makes a competitive selection based on the nominees' application essays.

I was nominated by the Boston University Dean of Engineering in June 2012, and selected by the NAE committee in September. This is my application essay, submitted July 2012.
